Role of industry in promoting “Agri mechanisation” in India

Abstract

India is an agricultural powerhouse, with over 50% of its population dependent on agriculture for their livelihoods. However,
despite being one of the world’s largest producers of agricultural products, the country is still grappling with low productivity
and income levels for its farmers. One of the key solutions to this problem is the widespread adoption of agricultural
mechanisation, which can increase yields, reduce labor costs, and improve efficiency. In this article, we will explore the role
of the industry in promoting agri mechanisation in India.
