Agricultural innovations driving productivity in a sustainable India

According to Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, “a sustainable food system (SFS)” is a food system that delivers food security and nutrition for all in such a way that the economic, social, and environmental bases to generate food security and nutrition for future generations are not compromised. Food is the common link that connects ALL the 17 goals of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals. Agriculture, being an extractive process, this should not surprising; but it took us long time for us to pay attention to the concept of sustainability.
