Abstract

India’s agricultural sector stands at a transformative crossroad. As the nation strives toward Viksit Bharat—a self-reliant and developed India—it must place farm modernization at the heart of this journey. However, modernization cannot follow a onesize- fits-all approach. With over 80% of Indian farmers owning less than 2 hectares, large-scale machinery is often unsuitable. The real breakthrough lies in compact, efficient, and smart machines designed specifically for small and marginal farms—ensuring agricultural sustainability, inclusiveness, and profitability.
