Abstract

Brewer’s Spent Grain (BSG) is the primary by-product generated during the beer-brewing process, comprising nearly 85% of the total by-products from breweries. Traditionally considered waste, BSG is gaining recognition as a valuable resource for both human and animal nutrition due to its rich nutrient profile. With an increasing focus on sustainability and waste minimization, BSG is emerging as a key player in the circular economy of the food and beverage industry.
