Abstract

Huge amount of energy is being wasted due to improper piping system in the existing irrigation pumpsets in the country. This wastage can be minimised by adopting a properly designed piping system. ln this paper an attempt has been made to present the various possible ways of minimising energy losses due to pipe friction.
