Abstract

Accurate water management planning at a place depends upon the strength of data available and the length of record used to develop the plans. Rainfall data at Adhartal, Hawaghar and Anandnagar in Jabalpur were collected and regression equations were developed between the monthly rainfall of above stations. The relationship between the monthly rainfall for different stations can be expressed by cube root linear equation for all the months except April, May, October and November for which the relationships can be explained by second degree cube root polynomial.
